Update 0.6.10: British battleships on World Warships

With World Warships update 0.6.10, here come the British battleships!

Before reading this article, please check out our World Warships review. Here, we will see the 0.6.10 update of World Warships with an optimization of the British battleships, the sounds, the effects or the interface. We also look at an aspect of the 0. 6.9.1 update with the British battleship Nelson. Let’s take a look at all of these together. British battleships are excellent at medium range shooting, helped by an Optimised Repair Team consumable. The latter restores more structural points after taking damage. They also have HE shells with more damage and armour penetration, giving the player the ability to do considerable damage at ranges where AP shells may be weakened or have less penetration.

For ships in ranks III-VI, they reward aggressive play and absorb damage perfectly with thick hulls and bow armour to bounce shells. For ships in ranks VII to X, they have excellent concealment so that the gamer can spend more time designing the perfect salvo.

New effects and sound changes in World

Warships

The graphics in World of Warships have been significantly optimised with this update. The dynamic lighting of the maps as well as the harbour, the external view of the ships, the lighting and the water have all been revised. In addition, a long-desired graphic change has been implemented. This is the dynamic lighting effects when main and secondary battery shots are fired. This results in sharper water movements when torpedo explosions, ship destruction or fires occur, for example.

In addition, the 0.6.10 update greatly optimises the sounds. Another point is the Ultra High setting, which is a new sound quality preset for the game. This can be downloaded with the launcher and activated directly in the “Audio” settings. Finally, the sounds remain more realistic with optimised ambient sounds, as do the effects of fire alarms, explosions and aircraft engine sounds.
